5-30-11 Fishing Report
There have been alot of fish being caught both inshore and offshore. Inshore there has been alot of redfish being caught in the pass and also around docks in the bayous. Also speckled trout are very plentiful in the intercoastal along docks and weed beds. Offshore, seas have been a little rough but for those who have gone have been rewarded. Blue water has been found around from the 131 to the double nipple and the squiggles. Blue and white marlin have both been caught and released over the weekend in these areas. If you are getting ready for snapper season to open, great news, they are everywhere. Remember that snapper season opens June 1st, so go get them. Don't forget that our red snapper tournament starts June 1st also, so if you are going it is worth the money to enter. Weekly and overall prizes will be given out. It only takes one bait catching one fish to win. Good luck and tight lines.
